Terms and conditions of sale Flower Campings
The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the rental of camping pitches and/or rental accommodation at campsites in the Flower network.
By booking a pitch and/or accommodation at a Campsite Flower network site, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
When confirming your order, you also acknowledge that you have read and accepted the Special Conditions specific to each campsite.
1/ Services – Rates
We offer bare pitches and rental accommodation.
Bare pitch
This is a bare pitch for your tent, caravan or camper van.
The price of your stay is calculated on the basis of a package that necessarily includes pitch rental, the possibility for 2 people to stay on the pitch, the possibility of pitching 1 tent with 1 vehicle, OR 1 caravan with an additional vehicle OR 1 camper van; and access to reception facilities, entertainment and sanitary facilities and, depending on the package chosen, a connection to the electricity network, or other options. The use of electrical connections is governed by the campsite’s internal regulations.
When placing your order, you must select one of the following packages:
Nature package: Package including a pitch without electricity
Comfort package: Nature package with electricity
Privilege package: Comfort package + [service to be specified by the campsite].
Freecamp package: Comfort or Privilege package including a pitch with private sanitary facilities, shower and kitchenette.
Individual sanitary facilities: including shower / WC / washbasin and outdoor point.
Additional costs (extra person, extra vehicle, pets, etc.) are not included in the above packages and will be added to them.
Rental accommodation
Our prices include accommodation rental according to the number of people (depending on the capacity of the accommodation), water, gas and electricity charges (excluding battery recharging for electric or hybrid vehicles), parking for one vehicle, access to reception facilities, entertainment and sanitary facilities.
Security deposit
Whichever option you choose (pitch or accommodation), you will be asked to pay a security deposit, the amount and terms of payment of which will be defined in the Special Terms and Conditions, following your booking or on arrival. This deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, or by post within a week of your departure. However, we reserve the right to retain part or all of it in the event of damage to the accommodation and/or its contents and/or equipment on the campsite.
We also reserve the right to deduct a cleaning fee if the cleaning has not been carried out on departure. The amount of this charge will be specified in the Special Conditions of each campsite.
Common provisions
All prices are in € and do not include tourist tax.
Whichever option you choose (bare pitch or rental accommodation), additional charges will apply for extra people, extra vehicles, extra tents, pets, visitors…
Our prices are subject to change according to economic and commercial conditions. The contractual price, payable by you, is the one shown on your Booking confirmation.
Flower Campings applies dynamic pricing. Rates are therefore subject to change, both upwards and downwards.
Partner benefits and promotions cannot be applied to confirmed bookings, whether already paid in full or in part, and are in no way retroactive.
This means that customers may have paid different prices for the same stay. Under no circumstances will customers who have paid the higher price be entitled to a refund of the difference between the price they paid and the promotional price.
The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the municipalities, is not included in the rates. The amount is determined per person per night, and varies according to destination. Depending on the municipality, it may be collected on site.
An eco-participation for the preservation of the environment and the sorting of waste, not included in the rates, can also be set up by the campsites and the conditions will be specified in the Special Conditions.
Unless otherwise specified in the Special Terms and Conditions of each campsite, booking fees are waived for stays booked via the Flower Camping website, the campsite website, or directly (by telephone or post).
2/ Booking conditions
General provisions
Our campsites offer family-oriented holidays, and the accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. By booking a stay at one of our campsites, you agree to make peaceful use of the accommodation, pitches and/or campsite facilities and not to cause any nuisance to other customers and/or staff.
For safety reasons, bookings for integration or group weekends (more than 9 people) are not authorized, except with the express prior written consent of the campsite.
Booking a pitch or accommodation is strictly personal. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your Booking without the prior express consent of the campsite.
Booking conditions
You can make a Booking on www.flowercampings.com, by telephone or directly on the campsite website.
All Booking requests must be accompanied by :
- payment of a deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay, including VAT, including the price of the services booked and, if applicable, tourist tax. However, the campsite may apply a different amount, which will be specified in the special conditions.
- If applicable, payment of the booking fee, the amount of which is specified in the Special Conditions for each campsite,
- payment of cancellation insurance, if applicable
Bookings made through the Flower Campings website and the campsite website constitute booking requests. Following your Booking request, you will receive an initial e-mail from our partner Secureholiday. This e-mail only confirms receipt of your request and states that it is in the process of being validated. The campsite reserves the right to accept or refuse any current request, subject to availability.
A second email from our partner Secureholiday will then be sent to you to validate or refuse the booking. During this period, the prices and availabilities displayed are not guaranteed (see “Common provisions” above). If the requested Booking is not available, the campsite may send you a counter-proposal via our partner Secureholiday. This will automatically cancel your initial Booking request. For further information, please contact the campsite directly.
Bookings are only binding on receipt of a written confirmation of booking, by e-mail, summarizing all the information relating to your stay.
The balance of the price of the stay, including the price of the services booked and, if applicable, the tourist tax, must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay. If the balance is not paid within the aforementioned period, the stay is considered cancelled and our cancellation conditions described below apply.
Bookings made less than 30 days before the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless you are informed of more favorable conditions. In this case, payment must have been received and confirmed by the campsite before the arrival date. If payment is not received before the arrival date, the booking will be considered cancelled.
Installing an option
You can only request an option by telephone, e-mail or post from the campsite. No option requests can be made via the Flower Campings website or the campsite website.
- Our campsites accept Booking Option requests subject to the following conditions:
- The validity period of an option is seven (7) calendar days (or any other period specified in the special conditions).
- On expiry of this period, the option is deemed to have lapsed ipso jure, without prior notice, and the corresponding stay may be put back on sale by the campsite without prior notice or reminder.
- Options are only valid if the booking is made at least forty (40) days before the scheduled arrival date.
- No options will be accepted for stays scheduled in July and August, when they concern these same periods.
No right of withdrawal
Under article L. 221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, transport, catering and leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period.
Maximum capacity
For safety and insurance reasons, the number of occupants may not exceed the capacity of the accommodation or pitch reserved, including newborn babies. If, on your arrival, we observe that the maximum capacity of the accommodation or pitch reserved has been exceeded, we reserve the right to refuse you access to the accommodation or pitch reserved, without refund of the price of your stay on our part.
Clientele – Minors
Minors remain the sole responsibility of their parents and/or guardians for the duration of their stay. Campsites Flower will only be able to book a stay for minors if they are under the responsibility of an adult or their legal guardian.
3/ Terms of payment
Accepted payment methods
You can pay for your Booking or your stay in euros using the payment methods specified in the Special Conditions of each campsite. However, by derogation, bookings made less than 30 days before the start of your stay must be paid for exclusively by credit card.
Payment by cheque is not accepted except for payment of the deposit and only for bookings made more than 30 days before the date of arrival.
Transient customers
If you are staying on a pitch without a Booking, you must pay for at least the first night on arrival. You are also responsible for informing reception of the desired or extended length of stay. The balance must be paid by the day before departure at the latest, taking into account reception opening hours.
No refund will be made for early departure.
4/ Stay
Handover of keys and inventory of fixtures
Your wishes for a specific pitch or accommodation on the campsite can only be fulfilled if we are able to accommodate you when you arrive.
Arrival and departure times are as follows:
Arrival times :
After 2 p.m. for pitches
Keys available from 4pm to 8pm for accommodation.
Departure times :
Before 12 noon for pitches
Obligatory departure inventory between 8am and 10am for accommodation.
Entrance inspections are carried out independently, with a map provided to help you find your way to your accommodation.
On the other hand, the inventory of fixtures and fittings for rental accommodation, Freecamp pitches and pitches with private sanitary facilities is carried out by our teams and is compulsory. Please register with reception during your stay.
Any dissatisfaction concerning the state of cleanliness and/or the general condition of the rental must be notified in writing no later than 24 hours after arrival, so that we can remedy the situation.
No complaint will be accepted more than 24 hours after the day of arrival.
Your accommodation and/or pitch must be left in the same condition as when you left; in particular, you must have cleaned it yourself. Should you fail to do so, the campsite reserves the right to deduct the cost of cleaning from your security deposit in application of Article 1 of these Conditions and the Special Conditions.
Reception office opening times are shown on the campsite website or can be communicated on request (telephone, e-mail). Late arrivals must be notified between the day of booking and the day before arrival, so that the campsite can make the necessary arrangements. If you wish to arrive in the morning, you will need to book the night before. Late arrivals must be reported in order to keep your Booking.
Late arrival and early departure
In the event of late arrival or early departure with respect to the dates and times mentioned on your booking confirmation, the total amount of your stay will remain due. You will not be entitled to any refund for any part of your stay not taken.
Animals
Pets are allowed on certain sites, subject to a fee payable on arrival. We recommend that you contact the campsite concerned directly to make sure that pets are allowed, and to find out the conditions under which they may be allowed, if this is not mentioned in the Special Conditions. Pets may under no circumstances cause a nuisance to neighbors (noise, hygiene, odor, etc.), and are strictly forbidden in the vicinity of swimming pools and sanitary facilities. Dangerous or aggressive animals (categories 1 and 2) and “new pets” are not accepted. Please bring your pet’s up-to-date health record and proof of vaccinations. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
Rules of procedure
For the duration of your stay, you must comply with the campsite rules and regulations, if any, and the swimming pool rules and regulations. We strongly recommend that you read these documents before the start of your stay, and will be happy to send you a copy by e-mail on request.
Unavailability of certain services – work
The services and facilities we offer (swimming pool, restaurant, activities, entertainment, etc.) may not be available all year round, particularly for climatic reasons or in cases of force majeure, or may not operate at all times of the year. They may therefore be temporarily unavailable during all or part of your stay. The schedule of activities may also be modified without notice if the minimum number of participants is not reached. No compensation will be payable in the event of modification or cancellation of activities.
The campsite will make every effort to inform you of any work or improvements carried out during your stay and will ensure that such work disrupts your stay as little as possible. In any case, no compensation will be due by the campsite in the event of maintenance work and/or urgent work carried out on the campsite during your stay.
Flower and/or the campsite cannot be held responsible for any work or improvements carried out by local authorities or private individuals in the vicinity of the campsite.
Cancellation of the Booking contract in the event of fault on your part
The Booking contract will be automatically terminated in the event of any of the following events:
- In the event of repeated non-compliance, i.e. after a formal notice to comply has been served by any means by you and/or those accompanying you, with our house rules or swimming pool rules.
In this case, you will have to leave your accommodation or pitch within 24 hours of the cancellation of your contract, which will be notified to you by any means. We will not refund any price or pay any compensation.
- If you do not show up at the campsite within 12 hours of the start of your stay and do not provide proof and/or news of your arrival.
We will dispose of your accommodation at the end of the aforementioned 12-hour period if we have not been able to contact you using the contact details provided when you booked your stay.
We will retain all sums paid by you; no refund will be made.
5/ Change of stay
Unless otherwise specified in the Special Conditions of each campsite, the following provisions apply in the event of a change of stay.
You may request to change the dates and/or type of accommodation for your stay at our campsite, provided that your request is received by e-mail at least 21 days before the original date of arrival.
However, you will have to book a new stay at our campsite during the same season as the one in which the initial stay was scheduled, subject to availability and current rates. Your initial stay may not be changed more than once. If you are unable to honour the stay substituted for the initial stay, it will be considered as cancelled; the sums paid will not be reimbursed.
If the price of the substituted stay is higher than that of the initial stay, you must pay the difference. Failing this, the substituted holiday will be considered as cancelled and our cancellation conditions described below will apply. If the price of the substituted stay is lower than the price of the initial stay, we will retain the price difference, as compensation for the loss resulting from the change of stay.
In addition, the campsite must be notified in writing prior to arrival of any changes to the number and/or age of participants.
6/ Cancellation of stay
Unless otherwise specified in the Special Conditions of each campsite, the following provisions apply in the event of cancellation.
Cancellation by you
Any cancellation must be notified to us by any written means on a durable medium (by e-mail, registered post with acknowledgement of receipt, etc.).
- If your e-mail/letter is received more than 30 days before your arrival date, the deposit paid, the booking fee paid and, if applicable, the cancellation insurance paid remain the property of the campsite. If the balance has already been paid, it will be reimbursed (if applicable, by the cancellation insurance, unless the balance has been paid more than 30 days before the arrival date).
- If your letter is presented between the 30th and 15th day before your arrival, the deposit and booking fee paid, and, if applicable, the amount paid for cancellation insurance, remain the property of the campsite. The balance of the price of the stay will be credited towards a future stay at the campsite, which must be booked within one year of the date of the initial stay.
- If your letter is presented less than 15 days before the date of your arrival, all sums paid to the campsite will be forfeited.
To obtain compensation, we recommend that you take out cancellation or interruption insurance when booking.
In any case, refunds granted in the event of cancellation do not include the amounts paid for tourist tax and cancellation insurance.
Cancellation by the campsite
If we are forced to cancel a Booking that we have confirmed, we will notify you as soon as possible, by e-mail; the sums paid will be reimbursed in full within a period specified in the Special Conditions of each campsite and by bank transfer.
Cancellation insurance
Our prices do not include travel insurance. It is optional and may be proposed in the special conditions.
7/ Complaints – Disputes
Any complaint relating to a stay must be made in writing and sent to us by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 20 days of the end of the stay.
In the event of a dispute, and if no amicable solution is found within one month of receipt of the aforementioned letter of complaint, you may have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator, provided you refer the matter to him within one year of sending your letter of complaint.

8/ Personal data
The processing of personal data that we implement for the purposes of Booking is governed by the Flower Personal Data Protection Charter, available on our website.
We inform you that you have a specific right to oppose telephone canvassing by registering on the Bloctel list (https://www.bloctel.gouv.fr/).
9/ Final provisions
Printing and content errors are always possible. We make every effort to provide photos and illustrations to give you an idea of the accommodation and services on offer. These photos and illustrations are intended to give an idea of the category of services. Given the diversity of our accommodations and pitches, we present a general description of our accommodations and pitches on our websites, with photographs given for information only. For further details, please do not hesitate to contact us or the campsite directly. The surface areas of the accommodation are approximate and given for information only.
We reserve the right to modify or supplement, at any time, all or part of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. In this case, the new version of the General Terms of Sale will be available on the site with its effective date.
